The essence of bonsai entails growing a tree in a pot in a miniature scale and in a shape often seen in nature. Trees can be grown for more than 100 years and passed down from generation to generation. Some trees are considered priceless. It is a living art form that is never ending, and always changing. My inspiration is from this unique and mysterious art form.
As each drawing is created, the tree is shaped, changed, and finally brought to completion. Now you can enjoy the beauty of bonsai without the daily care that is needed when growing live trees. Each piece is unique and requires no watering, fertilizing, pruning, or shaping.
Paul has traveled from coast to coast and abroad. Currently, he resides in the beautiful mountains of Murphy, North Carolina. He has studied, and taught Okinawan Karate, Jiu Jitsu, and Aikido. During this time, he began collecting, growing, and teaching the art of bonsai. He has worked on hundreds of trees over a period of twenty years.
