The essence of bonsai entails growing a tree in a pot in a miniature scale and in a shape often seen in nature. Trees can be grown for more than 100 years and passed down from generation to generation. Some trees are considered priceless. It is a living art form that is never ending, and always changing. My inspiration is from this unique and mysterious art form.
Paul has traveled from coast to coast and abroad. Currently, he resides with his wife and children in the beautiful mountains of Murphy, North Carolina. He has studied, and taught Okinawan Karate, Jiu Jitsu, and Aikido. During this time, he began collecting, growing, and teaching the art of bonsai. He has worked on hundreds of trees over a period of twenty years.
Some of his trees were featured and sold at The San Diego Zoo and San Diego Wild Animal Park. Hands on demonstrations of bonsai have taken place at The San Diego Zoo. Additionally, he has been invited to be a guest speaker in several schools within the San Diego and Poway Unified School District.
Artwork has been displayed and enjoyed in many countries. This gift of art is inspired by God.
